Georgia

As I enter year 2023, my goal is to continue to traveling with my humans and mark my spots. As January comes to an end, my humans wanted to take me to the mountains for a getaway weekend. Living in Florida makes me miss the mountains even more because seeing other animals and sniffing new smells is always best in the mountains.

This is the second time I am visiting Georgia, the first time was way back in August 2021. We stayed at the coolest lake view RV park called Army Core of Engineers located in Acworth GA. There were many deer and lightning bugs that kept me occupied. The lake water was so clear and the weather was perfect so I couldn’t help but to dip my paws and chase some fish. It was the best night ever!

Please watch the video below for some of the best views from the RV Park.

This time, I visited Georgia in January and my humans found a cool town for me to sniff called Helen. The town is known for its Dutch theme such as the buildings and all of the great smelling food. My humans surprised me with the most delicious sourdough pretzel with some beer cheese dip from a small shop, Granny’s Famous Pretzels. After hiking the town and saying hello to many people, my humans surprised me with a hike to a waterfall, Ana Ruby Falls. It was a short 0.5 miles hike one way with paved walkway. With a small admission fee that lead us to the most beautiful view of twin waterfalls, one was 153ft and the other 50ft. It was the perfect day and stop while on our way to a National Park.

I cannot wait to come back to Georgia and hike the Blue Ridge Mountains next.
